We began experimenting with wood and resin using traditional inlay techniques, and have spent years perfecting the process of seamlessly combining the two materials. We love the contrast between the slick, sometimes colorful properties of resin, and the warm, earthiness of wood.
We developed the Drip/Fold technique in order to capture the beauty and luminosity of resin in its liquid form. This is a free-form process and each piece is unique.
We formulate our resin colors in-house, and can match to any color sample. However, due to the nature of the material - it’s translucency and interaction with the wood - resin colors will naturally appear different from a paint chip or fabric swatch.
