Introducing the Kerf Lounge chair. Arms are made from figured black walnut or quarter-sawn White Oak that has been kerf-cut, bent, and inlaid with translucent epoxy resin.
The design came out of an inquiry into materials, with the goal of unifying liquid translucent resin and hard wood in a way that is both structural and aesthetic. Proportioned for relaxation.
